Procedure Time:

Depending on the area to be treated, we may recommend a numbing cream for up to 20 minutes. Treatment times vary by area but a facial treatment is typically 45 to 60 minutes.

Recovery Time:

In most patients, there are 1 to 2 days of redness and mild peeling for up to 7 days.

Results:

In the weeks following treatment, your skin may feel tight. Treatments are scheduled 3 to 8 weeks apart and we recommend 3 sessions for optimal results.

This can help improve the appearance of acne scars and is more effective on broader acne scars rather than narrow, deeper scars. Treatments scheduled over a period of several months can fade acne scars by stimulating collagen and skin regeneration. We use the Silkro RF Microneedling laser and can combine it with other treatments to address pigment concerns.

What does microneedling feel like?

Microneedling can feel like a variety of sensations from a warmth or scratching to a prickling or snapping rubber band. Many clients do not require a topical numbing cream but for those who prefer it or who maybe having treatment on a sensitive area, we offer this to manage any discomfort.
