In a landmark 10-year study conducted at Stanford University, patients who received regular Forever Young BBL® treatments were consistently judged by physicians to appear up to 11 years younger than their actual age.

Procedure Time:

Laser treatment is 25 to 30 minutes. Total treatment time is 45 to 60 minutes.

Recovery Time:

None. There maybe 5 to 7 days of social downtime although many patients are comfortable covering with makeup and resuming normal activities the next day.

Results:

The average patient needs 2 to 6 treatments depending on the amount of pigmentation. You'll start to see visible results in 2 to 3 weeks. After pigmentation correction, annual or semi-annual maintenance is recommended to remain Forever Young®.

Your Forever Young BBL® experience begins with a personalized consultation where we evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and design a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. During the procedure, a cooling gel is applied and a handheld device delivers gentle pulses of light energy to the skin. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief, warm snap similar to a rubber band, making the treatment very comfortable and well tolerated. Each session typically takes 20–30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. Because the treatment is non-invasive, there is little to no downtime, allowing you to return to your normal activities shortly after your appointment. In the days following treatment, pigmentation irregularities may temporarily darken before naturally fading, revealing a clearer, brighter complexion.

What is Sciton's Forever Young BBL®?

Sciton's Forever Young BBL® (Broadband Light) sets a new standard in anti-aging treatments treating conditions such fine lines, acne, loss of firmness and sun damage. The BBL is an Intense Pulse Light (IPL) device that uses light energy to improve overall skin tone and clarity. How does Forever Young BBL® work?

BroadBand Light (BBL) is an IPL (Intense Pulse Light) device by Sciton. The device uses light energy to improve overall skin tone and clarity. The light energy will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas stimulating your skin cells to regenerate new collagen. This process will restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking.

BBL energy allows us to precisely treat many skin conditions, such as: pigmented lesions (e.g., freckles, age spots or sun spots), vascularity (small blood vessels, rosacea, or flushing), acne, skin firmness, uneven skin texture, and unwanted hair. Your treatment will be tailored to match your skin type and your desired results.

What is the treatment like?

Benefits of Forever Young BBL® include a completely non-invasive treatment, meaning no incisions or surgical methods. Most patients receive treatments with no topical numbing cream. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes and we'll provide protective cover for your eyes. You can return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Your skin will be very thirsty and vulnerable to sun for the first 2 weeks. Diligent sunscreen application and hydrating creams are recommended new skin growth appears.

Will it be uncomfortable?

Most patients do not require topical numbing creams and report a feeling of a "snapping rubber band" with minimal discomfort. You can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.

How long will it take to see results?

You'll begin to see improvements after 2 weeks. Typically, brown spots will begin to appear darker at first and will begin sloughing off over a period of 2 to 4 weeks. These can be covered with moisturizer and makeup as needed.
